Our Little Family Christmas

So every year before we travel down to Moab, we have our own little family Christmas and open the presents my family gave us. We are traveling to Moab either today or tomorrow (depending on the weather and whether or not I can get Bart away from his new game long enough to clean the house), so we decided to celebrate today.
Okay, so this isn't the best picture, but behind the stocking on the left (my stocking) is the most AWESOME apron and hot pad glove. It's SOOOOOO cool! And there's a nut chopper where you put the nuts in the top and turn this little crank and they get chopped to the measuring cup below. So AWESOME. Santa was awesome to me. I sure love him. :o)
Addison got this cool ball in her stocking from Santa. The picture's blurry, but I was telling people about it, so I thought I'd post a picture so they could see it...it's kind of hard to explain.Bart got a laser level, and The Tales of Beetle and the Bard in his stocking...along with these cool soccer ball decorated car air fresheners...don't deny it, you all are jealous.Amy Stopped by before she left to California, so she was actually able to be here when we opened her presents, that was awesome. Bart loves his CDs.
Addison seriously had all the stickers out of the package before Amy even left. AWESOME gift Amy...the movie and book were awesome too...shes' watching Emperor's New Groove right now.And I LOVE my scrapbooking stuff...although I did have to hide the stickers from Addison. Silly girl!Bart loves the games. Thanks mom and Dad. (I didn't have him open everything, I told him he had to save some of them for Moab...he'll have more fun with them there anyway. :o)This year, instead of me opening the presents from my family Bart decided to have me open the presents from him because he said that I wouldn't be able to use it in Moab and it was so big he didn't want to have to pack it in the car. So here is me opening his present. What did he get me that put this awesome smile on my face you wonder?THIS!!!!
I SERIOUSLY had no idea! I liked our old bedding, but it was just too dark for our room, and I complained about regularly, but never really thought we'd be getting new stuff. This was an AWESOME surprise!!!!! AND LOOK AT ALL THE PRETTY PILLOWS!!! (For those of you who knew me in high school, you know how much I love my pillows)! It was a collaborative effort between he and my mom. Bart told my mom what he wanted to get me, so they both kept their eyes out for something I might like. My mom found this. And she made the two adorable pillows with the buttons on them! They're so cute! I'll have to get a closer picture of them. But I LOVE THEM!!! And notice the curtains in the picture above. So cute! I couldn't get a good picture of them. I'll have to wait until it's dark. And here's the dust ruffle.Seriously Babe, well done! Thank you so much! I LOVE IT!

Yay for Family Christmases. We're doing ours tomorrow with Tyler and Cassidee.

Oh, and The Emperor's New Groove is one of Benjamin's favorite DVDs. And you know I LOVE it myself :)

Reid has one of those balls like Addison's. I think that they are super cool. Reid relly likes it too because he can grip it and shake it and throw it. They are soft too so they won't hurt anything, too bad anyway, if they are played with in the house.

I love the new bed stuff too. We got new ones last year and it is amazing how much that can change how your room looks.

I made the stockings! Thank you Familyfun.com! Here's teh link. They really don't take too long...esepcially if you just use a zig zag stitch on the sewing machine instead of hand sewing them. ;o)
