First Haircut

So a few weeks ago, Hannah came home from preschool with an interesting hairdo.

Did you see that? Here, let's get a bit closer.

I think her teachers were trying to tell us something.

We were perfectly aware that she had grown a baby mullet, but the rat tail was the last straw. On Saturday, my baby finally got her first haircut.

Here's a Before:

"Hannah, can you smile for mommy?"
<span class=
Never mind, stop smiling.

And After:

YAY! The baby mullet is gone!

Hannah's attitude toward her first haircut was remarkably like Addison's. She just sat quietly watching what was going on. In an attempt to get some sort of reaction out of her, I asked her to smile. At first she did nothing, but then she thought about it, and gave me the beautiful smiling face in that picture above. Seriously, is that not the saddest/most pained smile you've ever seen?

Anyway...this is how Addison's hair was done on the same day Hannah's was in the rat tail.

I'll give you one guess as to what is new with her hair.

OH NO. Did she decide to cut the front herself?!

The "rat tail" was cracking me up! What would provoke them to do that?

Lol Janae, no, her hair just kept getting in her face so we finally cut her bangs. Once they were cut though we realized she has a calic that makes it do they won't fall straight down on her forehead. It's a good thing sideswept bangs are in now...as if she even cares.

Jessica, they have a bunch of girls who love to have their hair done. Sometimes they come home with crazy hair, it's quite a hoot. That day was one of those days.
