She looked like this for most of the haircut. Stock still watching the lady cut her hair in the mirror with a sort of tired skeptical look on her face.
She looked so serious I finally asked her to smile. She looked at me and gave me this lovely smile.

Okay, that is so unreal that she just sat there. What a good girl! She looks darling. I cut my kids hair and they always squirm like crazy. (And no, I don't know how to cut hair. I figured they don't care what they look like now, and by the time they do, hopefully I'll know what I'm doing!)

she does! actually I waited till Maddy was around 3 or so before she got her first haircut. I SO wish I had done it sooner. It took about 3 cuts before her hair FINALLY thickened a bit and started to REALLY grow!
